Kid’s Delight Potluck Party and Giveaways for Blog Anniversary!

Sharing is caring!

As traditions demand, here I am with my yearly hosting of my event for kids ~ Kid’s Delight. I am entering the fifth year and what better way than celebrating with a party for the kids and gifts. This year I was very alert and remembered the blog’s fifth Anniversary. Thanks to all who dropped in to wish, means a lot!
Now coming to the story I have on how I wanted to start this event, I wanted this to be an event where moms with picky eaters, have ideas for their kids meal. So first and most important rule for participating in this event is, your entry should have been approved by a kid. It could even be a dish that you used to eat a kid.
I know everybody is a kid to their mom, however for practical purposes, I have defined different age groups. So it will be great if you can mention the age group your kid falls, that it helps other moms.
Guidelines for the event:
From now until Oct 15th, you are welcome to join me for the celebration with a party for the kids. Entries can be anything that a kid would love to eat in a party.
The entries have to be Vegetarian. (Eggs are allowed only in baked dishes)
Multiple entries are accepted.
I am not accepting entries from archive as I want us to think new ideas..:) But then if you have something that’s very important like a list of items for a party etc, let me know.
Finally link back to the event’s Announcement page or this page. If you can use the logo, it will be great.
The entries can be linked up in the Linky tool below this post.
Now what is a party without gifts!
Yes I have some exciting books as giveaways. I am so thrilled that I have the most appropriate book for the event as the gift!.
I am so happy to introduce Roma Sharma’s new book 60 Baby Food Recipes”
you can find her book on flipkart
In her own words, “This book is an encapsulation of my journey as a mother and my learning in the process introducing solids to my babies. It contains 60 hand picked, vegetarian recipes that have been reviewed by experts like a paediatrician and nutritionist to ensure accuracy in the information provided. The focus is on babies between the age of 6-18 months. The recipes have been categorized based on the baby’s age.”
This is her Book cover:
Please note that this is not a sponsored post.
Glancing at the different age group and the different recipes and topics Roma has covered in her book, made me remember the time when my twins were weaned. I realized it would have been very helpful and feel this book will be a good guide to all new mothers.
To be eligible for the giveaway, please leave a comment stating the food you liked best as a kid. Or even better if you have toddlers, what is the toddler’s favorite food.
Last date for the giveaway – 30th September
Last date for entries to the Kid’s delight Potluck Party – 15th October
Hope you will all join in my celebrations!
