For the second day of Diwali Special Dishes, I have another sweet made again with Milk Powder. Let me confess that I had a huge stock of Milk powder and completely forgot about it. So this festival season, I went through my recipe collection and selected recipes that used Milk powder. This Milk Fudge is made in Microwave and as you guessed, it gets done in 6 -7 mins. Of course the timing and consistency will depend on your Microwave setting.
The day I made it, I wanted to make sure I made another sweet as well. Knowing my boys dislike to anything Indian sweets, I decided to make only chocolate based sweets this time. Surprisingly they loved this as well, maybe because I topped it with cocoa powder and melted choco chips. When it was getting done, they were impatient to taste it and Chinnu loved the milk fudge as well as liquid.
I literally had to hide the fudge in the fridge for it to set well, before slicing it to smaller portions. Laziness seem to have crept in and I have been finding it extremely difficult to get myself to cook something new for the kids. They are literally bored of the regular food that gets done during the week. Being so picky, they hardly want to try anything new. However when it comes to chocolate, they are on the front lines.
After making a layer with the milk fudge, I layered it with cocoa powder and melted Choco chips. I had swirled on top
