Stuffed Nutella Single Serve Microwave Cake

Stuffed Nutella Chocolate Single Serve Cake is a quick Microwave Cake made with Wheat flour stuffed with some Nutella in between. This makes a quick snack anytime.

  • 1 cup Wheat Flour
  • 5 tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 3 tbsp Curds / Yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 cup Water hot more if required
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 3 tbsp Nutella


  • Line a parchment paper on a tray, drop in 1 tbsp Nutella and make 3 numbers. Freeze for 10 mins.
  • Meanwhile in a bowl, mix the flour along with baking soda, cocoa powder, sugar, then add the melted butter and curds. Beat well.
  • Now slowly add hot water and combine to get a thick batter. Add more depending on the consistency.
  • The batter should be scoopable.
  • Grease Microwave safe ramekins with butter and fill to half of the bowls.
  • Place each frozen Nutella in the center of each bowl, cover with another spoon of batter.
  • Microwave for 30 secs in intervals, for 2 minutes till the cake is firm.
  • Total time should be around 1.5 minutes to 2 minutes, more than this the cake will become hard.
  • Turn over a serving plate and drizzle icing sugar over it.
  • The frozen Nutella melts during baking.
