Paneer Cheese Chutney Toast

Paneer Cheese Chutney Toast is made with green chutney, roasted paneer and cheese. This makes a quick meal for dinner or anytime.

Ingredients

For the Green Chutney

  • 1/2 cup Coriander Leaves
  • 1/2 cup Mint Leaves
  • 4 nos Green Chillies
  • 2 Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Peanuts roasted
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • Salt to taste

For the Roasted Paneer

  • 1 cup Paneer
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Ghee
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • A Pinch Turmeric Powder
  • Salt to taste

Other Ingredients

  • Bread Slices as required
  • Cheese as required
  • Ghee as required

Instructions

For Making the Green Chutney

  • Wash and drain the leaves. In a mixer, take all the ingredients except lemon juice, and grind to a fine paste without adding water.
  • Transfer to a bowl, adjust spice and squeeze in the lemon juice

For Making the Roasted Paneer

  • If you are making paneer at home, check out how to make Paneer at home
  • Else if using ready to use paneer, wash well and cube into small pieces.
  • Heat a nonstick pan with ghee, add the paneer and all the spice powders. Toss well and cook for 5 to 7 mins.
  • Remove to a bowl.

To make the Open Toast

  • Heat a pan and toast the bread slice with ghee on both sides.
  • On one side, spread the green chutney, place the roasted paneer on top. Cover with cheese.
  • Microwave for 30 secs
  • Serve hot.

Notes

I had garlic and onion powder on hand, else you can add garlic, onion to the green chutney while grinding.
You can make paneer at home or you an use readymade paneer.
