Spicy Tomato Macaroni with Cheese is a delicious pasta made Indian Style with Indian Spices and finally garnished with cheese. A typical fusion dish makes a wonderful choice for breakfast or for an evening snack.

  • 1 cup Macaroni
  • 1.5 cups Water
  • 1/2 medium Onions
  • 1 medium Tomato
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin Powder / Jeera powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Cooking Oil
  • 1 cube Cheese


  • In a nonstick pan, add oil, onions. Saute the onions well. Then add salt, spice powders. Once it’s cooked, add the tomatoes and cook for couple of minutes.
  • Add water to the pan and bring to boil. This can be done quickly by covering it with lid.
  • Then add the macaroni and simmer for 10 mins, stirring it frequently.
  • Simmer till the pasta is cooked and water is all absorbed.
  • Grate the cheese and add to the pasta when it’s still hot. Serve it hot.


I added the tomatoes as such, you can puree it so that the skin is not there as a hindrance to kids when they eat. Reduce the spice or increase as required.
