Ingredients Needed for Homemade Cheese Sauce

  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Corn Flour
  • 1.5 cups Milk
  • 1/4 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Pepper powder
  • 11/4 cup Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese


How to make Homemade Cheese Sauce

  • In a nonstick pan, melt the butter. Add flour and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Slowly add milk making sure to whisk well after pouring in.
  • Add onion powder, garlic powder, and pepper.
  • Continue to cook over low heat, whisking continually until slightly thick.
  • Mix the cornflour with 1/4 cup water. Slowly add to the pan and combine everything well.
  • Remove from heat, and add cheeses. Stir until melted.
  • Whisk well and store in an airtight container. Serve as a dip.
