Ingredients

  • 1 cup Potato boiled and mashed
  • 1/2 cup Maida
  • 1/2 cup Rice Flour
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • Cooking Oil for deep frying

Instructions

How to make Aloo Chips

  • Microwave the potatoes for 5 mins, soak and peel the skin off.
  • In a bowl, add the potato, flours, red chili powder, salt, and mash well with a fork.
  • Mix well together and add more flour if required.
  • Heat cooking oil and in the murukku press, add the dough and press out in hot oil.
  • When it's cooked well, drain out in a kitchen towel.
  • Serve with tomato sauce.
