Pepper Powderas per taste
Salt to taste
1/4tspSoya Sauce
Instructions
Soak the rice for 10 - 15 mins, pressure cook for 3 whistles or till done (as per your cooker instructions)
Heat a nonstick pan with oil. Add cumin seeds, when they splutter, add onions, green chilies and saute well. Then add capsicum julienne and simmer.
Add ginger garlic paste, saute well. Then, add the cooked rice and combine everything well. Add pepper, salt and check the taste.
Finally, add few drops of soya sauce and cover with lid.
Notes
I wasn't planning on adding that soy sauce, it was the last moment inclusion. So only a few drops were added. The taste should not be predominately soya sauce.
Make sure the capsicum is well cooked by cooking it with lid.
I also packed this for my Dad so it's good for adults also.
