Corn Burger ~ Easy July 4th Recipes

Corn Burger is an easy recipe you can make for your July 4th Picnics. With lettuce and eggless mayonnaise, these are creamy burgers.

Ingredients

For the Corn Patties

  • 1 cup Corn Kernels boiled and mashed
  • 1/2 cup Potato boiled and mashed
  • 1 tsp Garlic Paste
  • 1 tsp Green Chilli Paste
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper Powder to taste
  • Coriander Leaves handful
  • Red Chilli Flakes as required
  • 2 tsp Cooking Oil

Other Ingredients to Assemble Burger

  • Burger Buns
  • Lettuce Leaves
  • Mayo Sauce
  • Cheese Slices
  • Onion Rings
  • Tomato Rings

Instructions

For Corn Patties

  • Parboil the corn kernels and mash it roughly.
  • Microwave the potatoes for 4 mins, peel and mash well.
  • Transfer the corn paste, mashed potato to a bowl.
  • Add garlic paste, salt, green chilli paste, chilli flakes, coriander leaves and mix well.
  • Divide into equal balls, pat down into 3 inch cakes or discs.
  • Heat a nonstick pan, grease with cooking oil and cook the patties on both sides till crispy.

To assemble the Burger

  • Slice through the burger buns spread the mayo sauce on both sides, place the lettuce leaves, on top place the patties.
  • Top with onion rings, tomato rings, cheese slice and press the top one down.
