Dry Fruits Shrikhand is a delicious sinful dessert from Maharastra and is a different take of Shrikhand from the regular one. This is full of nuts and fruits and makes a wonderful dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 cups Curds / thick hung curds or Greek Yogurt
  • 3 /4 cup Sugar
  • A Pinch Salt
  • 1 tbsp Almond chopped
  • 1 tbsp Pistachios chopped
  • 1 tbsp Cashews chopped
  • 1 tbsp Walnuts chopped
  • 1 tbsp Raisins
  • 1 tsp Dates seedless, chopped
  • Few strands Saffron
  • A Pinch Cardamon
  • Mixed Nuts for Garnish

Instructions

  • Take the curds and place it on a sieve to drain overnight. You will get thick curds with whey water separated.
  • Take 1 cup of thick hung curds and whisk well. Add powdered sugar and beat in to incorporate completely. Mix a small pinch of salt and let it set in the fridge for a couple of hours.
  • Soak the saffron in a tbsp of milk and when it dissolves, mix it to the hung curds along with all chopped nuts and fruits.
  • Chill in the refrigerator. Serve chilled
