Ingredients
For the Kulchas:
2cupsWheat Flour
1/4cupMilk
1/4cupCurds / Yogurt
1tspBaking powder
1/2tspBaking Soda
Salt to taste
2tbspCooking Oil
For Paneer stuffing:
1.5cupsPaneer grated
1tspRed chili powder
1/4tspCumin powder
1tspGaram Masala powder
Coriander leaves handful finely chopped
Salt to taste
Instructions
Preparing the dough:
In a wide bowl, sieve the flour along with baking powder, baking soda. Add salt, curds and mise well.
Gradually add the milk to knead a soft pliable dough.
Knead it for some 5 minutes until the dough becomes very soft.
Cover with a cloth and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Preparing the paneer stuffing for the healthy kulcha
Grate the paneer in a bowl, add the red chili powder, cumin powder, salt, garam masala, and coriander leaves.
Mix everything well. Divide into small sized balls.
Making the stuffed kulcha
Divide the dough into equal balls. Take one ball, keep rest covered.
Flatten the balls on the sides, keeping the center thicker.
Place the filling in the center, gather from the sides and fold it well to enclose the ball fully.
Dust dry flour and gently roll out a disc keep it on a thicker side.
Heat a nonstick pan, grease with oil, and cook the kulchas on both sides.
