We are starting the third week of BM#67 and for the next three days I will be sharing some quick and delicious Breakfast dishes that I cooked for my Kids.
This month's edition is guest hosted by Nisha and she is calling for Breakfast dishes for Kids. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and I can't insist on how much effort goes into making the kids have something before they rush out. Unfortunately, during the school days, my kids hardly get enough time to eat their breakfast. It's mostly a glass of milk.
Konda was having her proper breakfast until a couple of years ago. Now it's become a rushed affair again. So I try my best to sneak in quick and interesting one to make them sit down and eat. Today's breakfast dish is one such quick one and their favourite as it was made with a chocolate slice.
Yes, you heard it right! Vaishali got this in Japan during her stay and so sweetly packed some for me too. I was only too glad to make this for the kids. I know the recipe is hardly a recipe. However, I do make it with chocolate chips too and was surprised that grilled version didn't find itself here. So this is something you can make with both a slice or chocolate chip.

    Grilled Chocolate Sandwich

    Ingredients Needed:

    Unsalted Butter - 2 tsp
    Bread Slices - 4
    Chocolate Slice - 2 / Chocolate Chips - 1/4 cup

    Sandwich Maker

    How to grill the sandwich

Butter both the sides of the slice. Heat the sandwich maker, toast the slices for a minute on both sides.
Remove the cover from the chocolate slice and place it in between. Press the sandwich maker and toast till it turns crisp.
If you don't have Chocolate Slice with you, you can use the chocolate chip on one side, press with the other slice and quickly press it down.
    Serve hot.
