Red Smoothie is blended with Strawberry and Plums. Makes a bright Red colour!

For a simple smoothie, I almost took about week to make it. I am supposed to be on smoothies for breakfast and somehow managed something. Please don't ask what. However, I have been eyeing this Red Smoothie since the time I decided I wanted to make it colour wise.

I have used Strawberries and Plums to make this. Used about 5 to 6 big strawberries along with those big plums. The puree was really so thick and since I wanted to drink, I added 1/4 cup of milk to make it little flowing. I love the crunch the seeds give.

And the two glasses you see was all just for me. I simply loved the colour. I still have pears, green apple, orange, so wondering what colour to make next!

I am also with Mir, I might add a bit of sugar to cut down on the tartness. Great looking smoothie 🙂

Now those two glasses are just half each, so no big deal drinking two...ha ha..they are not those Punjabi lassi glasses..btw the smoothie has a very pretty red, love that color so much.

Wow!You have made it so colorfully tempting and I agree with Sandhya and chefmireille that a little sugar(I would prefer a large scoop) will make it an admirable smoothie. The lovely pictures add to the magic in considerable way.

This foodie say it was good ,little tart. I'll be making this again to drink. Happy with the outcome..
Try it with coconut milk or Almond Milk
Try it with a little natural honey as a sweetener.
