Lifafa Paratha is a stuffed paratha made as an envelope popular in the northern states. This paratha is stuffed with a mixed vegetable filling and cooked and then stuffed.

This makes a wonderful travel food and very easy to make. Konda liked it so much that she wanted to pack this for her college.

I was very late in making it and had to hurriedly make it. So Lifafa Paratha is my choice for L in the AtoZ Flatbread and More, where I am doing AtoZ Indian Flatbread. If you are interested to know whats L in Dosa Varieties, hop over!

Kids would love this especially for the shape of the parathas. As soon as I saw, I thought of paneer as the stuffing. Need to try this for Sruti. My list of to do recipes is growing fast this BM.

That is a great idea to feed the kids. This is way better than Kathi roll 🙂 (in terms of messy eating)

This mega marathon has one great thing, I was making many of the flatbreads earlier too but never knew that they have a specific name like this lifafa paratha is one of them.
The paratha looks so crisp and the colorful , healthy ingredients peeking out of this paratha makes it more attractive
