Quick Bunny Chow is the quicker version of Bunny Chow. A South African fast food dish popularly sold as street fast food. It has a hollow loaf of bread filled with curry.
As I have all the ingredients I need to put the Bunny Chow together, this took no time to get ready. Since I was planning to make something very quick, I decided to make a fusion of the Bunny Chow.
While you can make this quick Bunny Chow in no time, you can certainly check out the other Chana Masala Recipes on both blogs. Because Chickpeas are so healthy and filling, having different recipes surely comes in handy.
Similarly, you can make other stuffed buns with these chana masala gravy topped with cheese. Rather than serving these gravies just as side dishes, stuffed with bread would be great!.

Konda simply loved it and that made it all the better as this is something one can get it assembled in for a minute! When the kids are in a rush for school in the mornings, this is a quick dish to make. With oozing cheese on top, they will for sure hang around to eat this!
We are starting the BM#83 week 3 with Quick and Innovative Breakfast dishes for Kids, I thought this one fit the bill on all accounts.

This is quite innovative and interesting way of serving chana masala and buns. Saw this in my FB feed the other but didn't read the description. I thought it was some chaat with poori (the small chaat pooris) 😛

That is such a fun recipe. My boys would love this as a quick after school snack as they are really hungry when they come back. I am making this when I make some subzi next time.

Love this recipe. Is it just filled with any curry, Valli? Or specifically with chick peas? I somehow always thought that bunny chow is a non-vegetarian dish.

This is a popular South African Indian originated dish where they stuff with some curry that seems to be with vegetables. There is veg version also. Since my boys don't prefer veggies much, I opted for Chana Masala..:)

I love this Bunny Chow ! First the name then the ingredients . I remember PJ posting it , I have something similar with white sauce , veggies and cheese , and I had loved that version too . The fusion with channa is definitely tempting .
