Eggless Orange Tea Cake is a delicious cake made using fresh Oranges and Orange Marmalade. I have another Orange Tutti Frutti Cake we all enjoy and this one joins the Tea Cake club.

    Eggless Orange Tea Cake

I am very fond of Tea Cakes, especially the ones you can make for an evening snack. On top, I love the flavour of Orange with chocolate in a baked dish. So this tea cake is just what you will love if you want to incorporate these two flavours.

I have a huge list of Eggless Tea Cakes, and Tea Cakes with fruits as well. This is part of day 2 of the Seasonal Special of BM#71

    Ingredients used

All Purpose Flour - I have used regular flour to bake this cake. You can consider using Whole Wheat Flour as well.

Fat - The fat for the cake comes from Condensed Milk and Butter.

For flavouring - The unique orange taste comes from adding Orange Marmalade and Orange Juice.

Instructions ~ Step by Step Pictures for Eggless Orange Tea Cake

This is a simple one-bowl tea cake where you just go mix one ingredient after another in the same bowl.

Eggless Orange Tea Cake Making 1

Start by taking the condensed milk in a mixing bowl.
Add melted butter, fresh orange juice, orange marmalade, and blend well.

Next add the baking powder and baking soda, whisk and let it stand for 5 mins.
Then add the flour and gently fold in.

Preheat the oven at 185 C. Line a baking loaf with parchment paper. Pour the batter into the tin and pat it down. The batter will be on the thicker side, so using a spatula scoop into the baking tin.

    Bake for 30 mins at 185 C
Let it stand for 10 minutes before slicing.
