Mango Granita is the next one on the Frozen Desserts for Kids. I made this couple of days before, yet just couldn't get to click pictures.

After a hurried click, I gave this to the kids and they enjoyed it saying it tastes so much like the ones we get in shops in popsicles. I made this the same way I had done the Watermelon Granita.

    Mango Granita

    Ingredients Needed:

    1 cup Mango
    2 tsp Sugar
    1 tsp Lemon Juice
    3 tbsp Water

    Method to prepare:

Wash and take the pulp from a ripe mango.
Add the sugar and water, pulse couple of times to get a smooth paste.
Add lemon juice and adjust sweetness.
Transfer to a bowl and freeze. I set this overnight.
Using a fork, fluff through for the crystals to form. Freeze it back.
I repeated this process a couple of times.
When you are ready to serve, scoop down to cups and serve right away.
Everybody enjoyed the crystals and boys said it reminded of Mango Ice that is sold in push carts.

This is for my Kid's Delight event, themed on themed on Frozen Food.

Looks awesome. For some reason we haven't enjoyed too many mangoes this season. Else I would definitely try this one out.
