I guess I would be repeating myself again when I say how blogging has changed my life and with that my family as well. Almost any time I cook anything or attempt a new thing, the first thing my folks ask me is if I have clicked a picture for the blog.
The first time we did something like celebrating with a blogger friend, was when we as a group in BM, did a virtual baby shower for PJ. It was a time a group of bloggers were getting closer, we didn't know much about each other. Yet we were bond by blogging, our passion for cooking, and sharing. Especially the friendship that blossomed among us.
It was really wonderful when we all finally met in 2013 and then again in 2014. Now we think of our BM friends as part of our family. And that surely means we celebrate and welcome the new members with equal zeal and enthusiasm.
This closeness has crossed borders and we almost know what each of us is doing by the hour if not the minute! That surely happened because of Whatsapp. We can beat anybody in the area of chatting and do it non stop.
When we realized that one of our friends, Sapana, is expecting her second child and moreover she has shifted location recently, we thought we should do this baby shower for her. It was decided that we all cook from her space and enjoy the dishes and at the same time, make her happy.
I always have this habit of cooking special dishes for my friends when they were expectant moms. I know it feels wonderful to be pampered, especially during this time. So this is our small way of making Sapana happy with us cooking her dishes and enjoying with our family.
The day we decided happened to be a Saturday and I made the entire day's course of a meal from her blog, right from Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Snack, and Dinner. I especially wanted to make sure the Breakfast and Snacks were Kids approved. In fact, my kids loved the lunch as well.
I recently updated my Recipe Index and for a better display of recipes for the readers, I decided to post the recipes individually. For today, it's going to be a display of all dishes that I have cooked from her collection.
I hope Sapana enjoys our work!
The cute banner that you see is created by Pradnya. She created three different ones, all so cute that I didn't know which one to finalize. So requested our friends to use all three.
