Sometimes the quickest snack would be something that never strikes you ahead. Kids really are so simple to please, and especially mine, if you offer them paneer, they don't mind eating it as such! That's exactly what I did the other day. Off late we had too much excess milk being slashed up and we end up curdling 2 -3 litres of milk in one shot. Sometimes we simply can't be repeating the same Paneer Butter Masala, which the kids love to bits.
So those days, I need to plan something else to use the paneer with. Apart from making the many paneer recipes, paneer into different starters, there was a need to come up with something quick. So thought I would simply saute them and serve. Trust me, most times it just disappeared before I could even think - click!
Finally when there as a chicken fry that was on table, and that being their favorite one, this plate was left unattended for few minutes, that's when I clicked away to share it with you all. After all the famous dish needs to make an appearance right!
The dish is just as you make it. No recipe as such. If you have a slab of paneer you quickly want to use, simply cube them into bite size, saute in ghee with spice of your liking and serve hot. For Konda I make it spicier, while boys just prefer mild pepper and red chili to their pieces. Very quick and you have smiling, happy kids in front of you!

    Curried Paneer Snack

    Ingredients Needed:

    Homemade Paneer - 250 gms'
    Salt to taste
    Ghee + Oil - 2 tsp
    Pepper powder to taste
    Red Chili powder to taste
    Curry powder to taste

Since this is not really much of a work, you could use homemade paneer, Cut into rectangle pieces and heat a non stick pan with ghee and oil.

Once the pan is hot, add the paneer pieces and saute well. Now season with spices of your choice.
