Quick Shahi Tukda is just what it says, it is as simple as setting a glass and arranging the layers. There is hardly any cooking involved. I even became lazy and used condensed milk as such and topped it with more layers. Konda enjoyed the servings I layered and chilled. This is just apt to be called quick Shahi Tukda as it meets the requirement for one!

While the Shahi Tukda that I had shared is an easier recipe, this one goes one step forward to make it even more simpler!

This makes a wonderful dessert to enjoy during a hot afternoon. However, with the rains we were blessed to have for a day, I am sure I will enjoy indulging in this while gazing at the rains!

    Quick Shahi Tukda

    2 Bread Slices
    2 tbsp Condensed Milk
    2 tsp Ghee
    Walnut Praline as required
    1/4 cup Cream
    2 tsp Sugar

Whip the cream with sugar and chill
Cut the bread slices into quaters and roast over pan with ghee till it turns crispy.
Place the roasted bread into the serving glasses, pour the condensed milk over it.
top again with bread and then layer the whipped cream
Finally top it with walnut praline

This sounds so easy, Valli. Will be useful for when dessert needs to whipped up in a hurry.

I first tasted shahi tukda at a friend's place. Have been wanting to make it but the quantity puts me off as I'd have to finish it all. Love your quick version and the individual portions.
