Cheese Nacho Dip is something you can make in flat 5 to 7 mins, provided you have all the ingredients on hand. I always have these stocked as I never know when my kids would want a dip or a sauce. Though some of the ingredients used in this are not always stocked liked the onion powder and garlic powder, the dip still tastes good with rest of the ingredients.

Konda and Peddu love Nachos and always order this when we go to cinemas. They enjoyed it when I had made it some years ago at home. Though that is a simple and easy one to make, I haven't made it that often. So they always order that outside. Amma got them a store bought a packet and they wanted the dip.

So this cheesy nacho dip gets ready in 5 mins and you have the sauce disappearing in front of eyes! Since the packet we got first got over so quickly, I had to buy again and made this to serve the Nachos. It's a case of dip for the Nachos and then Nachos for Dip.

    2 tbsp Butter unsalted
    1 cup Milk

    2 tbsp Cheddar Cheese
    Salt to Taste
    1 tsp Pepper Powder

How to make Cheese Nacho Dip

Heat a nonstick pan with butter, add the flour and whisk well till the flour gets cooked. This takes about a minute or so.
Then add the milk and mix well in low flame, add the onion and garlic powder. Combine all together and let it simmer for a minute.
Add the grated cheese and let it melt. Finally, add the salt and pepper, and allow to cool.
Once cooled, pulse to get a smooth dip
Adjust the seasoning as needed. If the sauce becomes too thick, add 1/4 cup of milk.

I have to agree that making our own sauces and dips are so much easier when we have the ingredients stocked. Homemade dips are way more healthier than the store bought ones and has just the right ingredients that we need. Looks delicious Valli and so ready to dig in.

Making sauces and dips at home are so much healthier without the preservatives and artificial flavorings. The dip is tempting... would go well with chips too.
