    A recap of Indian Food Odyssey ~ Journey through 30 Indian States

    After going through so many Indian States, cooking from it and writing surely made us all so busy. It's been a fantastic month, learning about so many things I didn't know about my own country, it's been a great experience.

    Indian Food Odyssey began on April 1st and we covered about 30 Indian States/UN.

    This is just a recap of what I did.

    Andhra Pradesh~ Dibba Rotti, Tomato Uragaya, Allam Kobbari Pachadi

    Arunachal Pradesh - Khapse ~ Deep Fried Traditional Biscuits

    Assam - Kholasapori Pitha, Koldil Bhaaji

    Bihar - Sattu ka Paratha, Baingan ka Bharta

    Chhattisgarh - Chusela / Rice Poori, Channa

    Delhi - Paratha Wali Gali Mixed Paratha, Aloo Subzi, Pumpkin Subzi, Lassi

    Gujarat - Bajre ka Thepla, Rasawala Bateta nu Shaak

    Haryana - Methi Wali Makki Roti, Matra/ Dried Yellow Peas

    Himachal Pradesh - Babru, Channa Madra

    Jammu and Kashmir - Kashmiri Roti, Methi Chaman, Kashmiri Dum Aaloo

    Jharkhand - Daal Pitha, Roasted Tomata Chutney

    Karnataka - Mysore Masala Dosa

    Kerala - Pathiri with Kadala Curry

    Madhya Pradesh - Bhidai / Atta Dal Kachori, Dhaniya Chutney, Aloo ki Jhol

    Maharashtra - Thalipeeth, Thecha

    Manipur - Manipuri Khichdi with Ooti

    Meghalaya - Pukhlein ~ Rice Jaggery Bread

    Mizoram - Hmarcha Rawt - Roasted Green Chili Chutney

    Nagaland - Mashed Potato with Burnt Tomatoes and Chili

    Orissa - Nadia Chitau Pitha, Phula Kobi Tarakaree

    Pondicherry - Soya Biryani, Katirikaiy Chutney

    Punjab - Makki Ki Roti, Sarson Ka Saag, Carrot Halwa

    Rajasthan - Khoba Roti, Aloo Ki Subzi

    Sikkim - Sel Roti

    Tamil Nadu - Virudhunagar Ennai Parotta, Veechu parotta, Vegetable Chalna

    Panch Phoron Tarkari from Tripura

    Uttar Pradesh - Khamiri Roti, Dal Makhani

    Uttarakhand - Mandua Ki Roti, Lesu, Kulath Ki Dal

    West Bengal - Radhaballabhi with Niramish Alu Dom

      A very interesting observation Valli - you seem to excel in including atleast one Indian bread in almost every state ka spread ! So many varieties ! Great recap
