Day 4 - Baking Workshop, Dress Code - White, with Chef caps and BM Aprons; Dinner at Vaishali's residence - Traditional Wear

None of us slept much and was up till 3 in the morning. We decided we were not going to do much other than having some blogging session and generally prepare for the Baking Workshop we were going to have in the afternoon.

We had a late brunch that had Aloo Paratha, Kulcha Chole.

I then spent some time clicking pictures of the place we were staying. The Villa had a lovely terrace with so many flowering pots, a different type of citrus etc.

When we had planned for Delhi, one of the first things we planned was to have a baking workshop. With experts like Gayathri, Veena in our group, we thought it will be very helpful.

Planning for the workshop has been going on for so long. I was simply the spectator, the baking gurus had everything planned. Gayathri had planned on Baking Eggless Spong Cake, Chocolate Cake, some Savoury Bread. Veena had planned a session on frosting and flower making.

We managed to click a group picture with all of us in White.
We had about 12 attendees, with even a 12 year old kid joining to learn. The group was very enthusiastic and had hands-on experience at each level.

First was the savory mint coriander pesto twisted bread. The moment it came out of the oven, it disappeared!

Then was the 3 layered Eggless Chocolate Cake that got baked. The same cake was frosted with fondant and decorated with our customary BM Milestone shown on the cake.

The final cake look so beautiful and pretty with all those flowers.

Then with yeasted dough, the Chocolate caterpillar was baked.

These were the different cakes that got baked and frosted.

The final picture with the BM Aprons, Caps with names, posing with the BM Cake. Thanks to Gayathri, Veena and Pradnya for getting the session going on. Sowmya, Preeti, PJ, and Ritu for running around nonstop, getting everything when needed.

The workshop got over by 6.30 or so. We were asked to get ready for dinner at Vaishali's mother's place.

I don't know how we got ready, but we were ready and left. We met Vaishali's Mom, and her brother's family. It was so wonderful spending time with them.

The menu was so elaborate and we knew we will not do justice to the huge spread!

We had grilled starters with so many salsas.

They had a roti expert making different rotis just before we started our main course.

The rotis and Bhugal Chawal had these many side dishes

    Navrattan Korma
    Paneer Lababdar
    Dal Makhani
    Sindhi Kadi
    Mattar Mushroom
Finally, we completed the meal with Moong Dal Halwa. and special paan.

We were exhausted just by eating and returned back at about 10.30 or so. As expected none of us went to sleep.

We had a freshers ragging session and followed by seniors ragging session. On the whole, it was a time to relax and spend more time with each other. We practically didn't have much time spent just sitting. It was 3.30 am when we finally decided to sleep.

Day 5: Getting ready to leave and general Blogging Discussion. Dress Code- Blue

We woke up little late and arranged all the baggage. We had changed and got our matching blue caps. After a photo session, slowly each one got ready to leave.

Pradnya left first with her son, then Preeti left.

We all ordered Fried rice and Paneer Manchurian for lunch and Gayathri frosted the extra Chocolate Cake she had bought.
    Fried Rice with Paneer Manchurian

Finally a picture with all in Blue.

We finally left around 2.30 and reached the airport. We had an emotional sendoff. The newbies who joined, have become so much closer.

All of us flying down south left at the same time.

The sunset was so beautiful. Yet another wonderful day came to end. The five days spent together was over before a blink of an eyelid. The memories will stay fresh forever!

The blue sky never fails to elevates your thoughts, giving you hope, a wish and wanting to have this time come again soon.

Thank you for joining us virtually.
