    September 2015 has been one wonderful experience for us in the Blogging Marathon group. If you are landing here for the first time, then let me take a moment to explain that we in the Blogging Marathon, do a monthly and a biyearly full month Marathon.

    All the BM editions are based on themes. Even the Mega BMs have a theme going on.

    We have been doing the Mega Blogging Marathon since April 2013,

    April 2013 was weekly themes
    September 2013 was ABC Cooking
    April 2014 was Indian Food Odyssey
    September 2014 was Around the world in 30 days
    April 2015 was Fire up our Ovens

    So this September we had a Buffet On Table

    This was the logo for the Mega BM showing off a lady Chef having a menu on the board. And what a menu it has turned out to be!

    As you see on the Board, we had 5 themes, one for each week. We are 20 of us and all did the same theme for each week.

    Week 1 - Combo Dishes

    Australian Potato Wedges  served with Homemade Sour Cream  and Sweet Chilli Sauce

    Mexican Tortilla Chips with Homemade Cheese Dip and Tomato Salsa Sauce!

    Greek Vegetarian Gyros with Tzatziki Sauce

    Italian Spaghetti with Vegetarian Meatballs in Creamy Tomato Sauce

    British Apple Crumble with Custard Sauce

    Week 2 - Indian States

    Kerala Onam Sadya

    Uttar Pradesh Awadhi Thali 

    Udupi Thali

    Gujarathi Thali

    Tamil Nadu Aadi Krithigai Festival Feast

    Maharashtrian Misal Pav

    Week 3 - Condiments


    Italian Pesto

    Indian Andhra Peanut Mango Pickle

    Mexican Homemade Nacho Cheese Sauce

    Tunisian Harissa

    Arabic Spice Blend

    Pakistani Garam Masala

    Week 4 - Breakfast across Countries

    A Pakistani Nashta  - Halwa Puri Aur Aaloo Cholay Ka Salan

    Malaysian Roti Canai with Dhal Curry

    Srilankan Pol Roti

    Moroccan Onion Msemen, Plain Msemen served with Honey Butter Syrup
