Paneer Tacos are an Indian Mexican Fusion Recipe. In this delicious easy Lunch Recipe, we use roasted paneer in Indian spices using Roti as the base with Mexican flavours. It only takes 20 minutes to assemble this typical Kid friendly dish.
A taco is a traditional Mexican dish where small hand-sized corn or wheat tortilla is stuffed with different fillings, topped with cheese. This dish can be done with both crispy tortilla and soft tortilla as well. When using a soft taco, it is then folded around the filling and eaten by hand. However, there are so many fusion versions around these tacos.
I have previously made chicken tacos, Roasted Vegetables, and Paneer Tacos using Corn Shells, this time for the Fusion Platter spread, I wanted to go with Indian flavours using Chapati as the base.

The Fusion Platter I created features different fusion cuisines like Indo Chinese, Indo Mexican. The Platter features all kid-friendly dishes like Roti Noodles, Roti Nachos, Chinese Bhel, Garlic Noodles, and Gulab Jamun Trifle along with these Paneer Tacos. I made it for dinner and the entire cooking time was about 1.5 hours only as I used chapatis as the base.
For all the dishes, I used roasted vegetables for the fillings. I mixed and matched all the dishes serving with dips that were served together. You can serve different dips like Easy Mexican Cheese Dip for Tortilla Chips, Homemade Tomato Salsa, etc.
