Stuffed Paneer Tikka Sandwich or grilled paneer sandwich on tawa is as sinful as it can get. This fusion dish makes a wonderful addition to any meal.

This stuffed Paneer Tikka Sandwich happened last weekend when we had gone out during the weekend, leaving Konda behind because she had her semester exams. She was all fine with us going out, however, she started missing once we left. Naturally, we were missing her too. We surely wanted to take her, however, we couldn't.

When she wanted some evening snack, Amma made this for her and she was sharing the pictures with me saying I am missing this great sandwich. Seeing it was a stuffed dish, I asked her to click pictures as I had made anything for this week's theme.

So, cooking was done by Amma and clicking by Konda. I only got to enjoy the pictures. I asked Amma to share the recipe and she said she got to enjoy these sandwiches during her recent travel.

Amma was happy recreating the same taste. Konda confirmed these were certainly one of the best she had tasted. So do try these fantastic grilled paneer sandwiches and enjoy.

The only concern she had was that the paneer kept falling down. I said it would have been best if she had used paneer slices instead of cubes. So next time it's going to be a paneer slice sandwich!

We are doing the fourth week of BM#100, where I am going to share some stuffed dishes. This Paneer Tikka Sandwich on Tawa is a wonderful fusion dish. You could check out this Croque Provençal & this Spring Onions, Potato, and Paneer Sandwich.

    For the Paneer Tikka

Hung the curds for 10 mins to get a thick consistency. You can keep it aside for a longer time if you can.
Mix the spice powders to the curd and marinade the paneer cubes. Slicing the paneer will be a better option as we are going to stuff between bread slices.
Let it marinade for 30 mins. Heat a tawa and grease with butter.
Cook the paneer along with the marinade on both sides until done. Keep it aside.

    For the Green Chutney

    Wash and chop the herbs.
Take all the ingredients and grind to a smooth chutney.

    Making the Sandwich

Heat a tawa and grease with butter. Toast the bread on both sides.
Apply the green chutney on one slice, place the cooked paneer tikka over it.
Apply the butter on the other slice and press it down with the butter side down on the tikka.
Press well and cook for a minute on both sides, before serving.

This paneer stuffed sandwich looks awesome Valli. Lucky that konda was there to click the snaps as well the step wise pictures. Slicing paneer to the size of the bread slice would make it easier to handle.
